Terms of Use
Last updated 20 September 2026.
These terms cover the AllergyVault website and the AllergyVault iOS app. They are a contract with AllergyVault, a sole trader based in Melbourne, Australia (“AllergyVault”, “I”, “me”). An Australian Business Number (ABN) is available on request.
By using the site or the app, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use them.
1. Operator
AllergyVault is a sole trader based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It is not a company or partnership.
2. What AllergyVault is — and is not
AllergyVault is a tool for keeping allergy records, showing cards, and related features described on the features page. It is not medical advice, not a diagnosis, not a treatment service, and not a substitute for a doctor, pharmacist, ambulance, or emergency department.
Always follow your clinician’s advice and your own emergency plan. If you think you or someone else is having a serious allergic reaction, seek emergency help immediately. Do not wait on the app.
3. The website
This site is a public marketing page. Pre-launch, the call to action is to follow Instagram and X. There is no waitlist or email signup on the site. Coming soon on the App Store.
Information on the site is general. Features may change. “Coming soon” means the App Store listing is not the download link yet.
4. The iOS app
The app is for iPhone (iOS). Apple’s App Store terms also apply when you download or buy anything through Apple. AllergyVault does not have to offer every feature on every device or in every country.
You are responsible for the accuracy of records you enter, for who you show or share cards and links with, and for keeping the device and vault lock under your control. Time-limited share links and caregiver invites can expose health information to whoever receives them.
Optional Apple services (Face ID, Health, iCloud, Watch, widgets) depend on Apple. If Apple changes or withdraws a service, related features may stop working.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the app or site for anything unlawful
- try to break, overload, or reverse engineer the service
- misrepresent AllergyVault as a clinical or emergency service
- enter someone else’s health information unless you are allowed to manage it
6. Intellectual property
AllergyVault name, wordmark, icon, and site content are owned or licensed by the operator. You may not copy the brand or site for your own product. You keep the rights in the records you enter.
7. Availability and changes
The site and app are provided as available. Features, these terms, and pricing (if any is later offered in the App Store) may change. AllergyVault may withdraw a preview or a feature.
8. No warranty
To the extent Australian Consumer Law allows, the site and app are provided without warranties that they will be error-free, always available, or fit for a particular clinical purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer guarantees you cannot contract out of under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Liability
AllergyVault is a sole trader. To the extent permitted by law, AllergyVault is not liable for loss arising from reliance on records, cards, scans, widgets, or reminders instead of clinical or emergency care; from share links or backups you create; or from third-party platforms (Apple, Instagram, X, Vercel).
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of resupply, where that limit is allowed.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and AllergyVault submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the Commonwealth of Australia sitting in Victoria, except that you may have extra rights as a consumer in your Australian state or territory.
11. Contact
